Eric is the trader “behind the code” who turns ideas from Simpler’s traders into indicators that work.

Before diving into trading full-time Eric was a fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy. His 20-year career included tours as a flight instructor, teaching university physics and ethics at the U.S. Naval Academy, and multiple combat deployments in the F/A-18 Hornet.

Eric entered his career as a retail trader during the dotcom bubble at the turn of the century and ultimately discovered his strengths were in the fusion of options trading and creation of unique technical indicators. His knowledge and insight has created multiple indicators used daily by Simpler’s traders and untold numbers of other traders across multiple computer trading platforms.

Simpler’s traders hold Eric in high regard as he continually brings to life the tools that help make their trading more consistent and successful.

The Simpler Trading team depends on Eric as he turns their imagination into reality. His indicators allow traders to track elements of the market that bring tangible results to their trading accounts. He translates traders’ visions into indicators that allow them to become more disciplined, more capable, and ultimately improve their profitability.
