Even the best athletes can’t run forever — they need to stop, rest, take a drink of water and recuperate before they head off for their next dash. The market is the exact same way. No ticker, no matter how strong, will go straight up or straight down. The Nasdaq had an incredible run in July, and then it traded straight down to the 50 SMA for its breath.
